Hannah Jerushalmy, Psy.D.

Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Jerushalmy specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders (including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, phobias, and panic attacks), depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, insomnia, eating disorders and body-image issues, and trauma. She frequently works with individuals who struggle with rumination, self-critical thinking, and managing intense or difficult emotions. She also focuses on women’s health concerns, including perinatal and postpartum challenges and infertility/IVF.

Dr. Jerushalmy brings warmth, compassion, and authenticity to every session. She emphasizes a collaborative approach, working together with clients to help them break free from negative patterns and identify and achieve their goals.

She uses a range of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring treatment to meet each client’s individual needs. She is also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE).

Dr. Jerushalmy received her B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College and her Psy.D. from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology (Yeshiva University). She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the VA New Jersey Health Care System and has received training across inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings.
