Dr. Womack has a strong foundation in applying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) treatments to a variety of concerns, including insomnia, anxiety disorders (including social anxiety, health anxiety, OCD, and panic attacks) and mood disorders. Dr. Womack specializes in career counseling; she helps people who are considering or navigating career changes, coping with workplace stress, and seeking work-life balance.
Dr. Womack also focuses on helping clients facing life transitions and helps them maintain self-care and sound mental health practices during these periods. Dr. Womack uses a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy, ensuring that clients are equipped with the support and guidance necessary to make sustainable changes in their life.
Dr. Womack completed her Ph.D. in the APA-accredited Counseling Psychology program at the University of Southern Mississippi. She completed postdoctoral training at the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, where she received training in CBT for insomnia (CBT-I).
